Néstor Jiménez will exhibit at the Erarta Museum in Russia in 2026
Mexican artist Néstor Jiménez will present his project The Blue Noise Spectrum at the Erarta Museum in Saint Petersburg from April 24 to August 23, 2026. Inspired by the cobalt-60 radiological accident that occurred in Ciudad Juárez in 1983, this body of work explores the material, historical, and symbolic resonances of radiation and metal.
The exhibition includes the mural Resplandeciente Sol de Canícula, created with concrete, pyroxylin, oil, enamel, and cobalt and cadmium pigments, along with a series of pieces featuring the kobold goblins—mythical beings associated with cobalt extraction.

Néstor Jiménez expondrá en el Erarta Museum, Rusia en el 2026.El artista mexicano Néstor Jiménez presentará su proyecto The Blue Noise Spectrum en el Erarta Museum de San Petersburgo, del 24 de abril al 23 de agosto de 2026.
Inspirado en el accidente radiológico por cobalto-60 ocurrido en Ciudad Juárez en 1983, este cuerpo de trabajo explora las resonancias materiales, históricas y simbólicas de la radiación y el metal.La muestra incluye el mural Resplandeciente Sol de Canícula, realizado en concreto, piroxilina, óleo, esmalte y pigmentos de cobalto y cadmio, junto a una serie de piezas que incorporan a los duende kobolt, seres míticos asociados con la extracción del cobalto.
