Humlebæk, Denmark, September 18 (EFE) – The Louisiana Museum of Contemporary Art (north of Copenhagen) opens a major retrospective of the Spanish-Mexican painter Remedios Varo (1908-1963) this Friday, exploring the magical world of her work. "Remedios Varo: Painting Magic" brings together 70 works by the artist considered one of the three "magicians" of Mexican Surrealism – along with painter Leonora Carrington and photographer Kati Horna – complemented by photographs, notebooks, and personal objects. "Remedios Varo: pintando magia" reúne 70 obras de la que está considerada una de las tres "magas" del surrealismo mexicano -junto con la también pintora Leonora Carrington y la fotógrafa Kati Horna-, completadas con fotografías, cuadernos y objetos personales.
